It was a 160 SM's (2011) but only 4 got out the door because they caught the problem right away. It was a valve problem with the reverse but because 4 units did leave the factory they had to issue a recall. This was only a SM problem.

Thanks for the update Lamont.. I have a 2010 SM5 and was already having some trauma - your clarification was a great relief..

Confirmed. NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number: 11V081000

BRP Warranty Campaign 2011-0003 has been (will be?) issued to dealers to address this. There is a draft notifiucation letter, in case any of these were actually sold already. It should be taken care of in short order.
