• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Comfort Seat

I have the BRP Comfort Seat on a RTL 2016 Model. I put the adjustable drive backrest (from BRP) and it seems to set too far forward. Do you need a different backing plate under the seat for this application? Anyone else have this problem with the Comfort Seat?

I believe, but stand to be corrected, that there were different back rests depending on which model of BRP seat that you have. I seem to remember that some people were sold the wrong back rest suggesting there is a difference. I don't know if that is still possible. Others will surely jump in if I am wrong or have ideas. My seat is an Ultimate so the back rest is matched with the seat.

The comfort seat takes a different part number than the stock seat. I believe the backrest for the comfort seat is 219400458.

This shows the part numbers for the RT series.

I have the Comfort seat and backrest on my 6016 RTE6, and it is adjustable. If you have the Early version of the backrest it Non adjustable. If that is the case you can order the mechanism to make it adjustable. (part # 219400682) bottom item on the page.
