• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brought it home: F3-S!

Greetings my Spyder buddies!

My wife loves her brand spanking new 2019 F3-S! Photos attached.

I had the pleasure of riding it home from out of state dealership (4 hour trip). I can see why y'all love your Spyders. I love it too!
From the perspective of 2 wheels, I found the F3-S to be radically different and utterly fun!

When cash flow picks back up, I'll be purchasing comfort items like floor boards, heated grips, etc. But right away I'll be getting a windshield.
How's the used market for items like these? Probably should go with new windshield right?

Bought a 2019 F3-S last April. Got close to 9,000 miles on it now and have had no problems at all with it. Back tire wore out and changed it, but that was expected. Did the oil changes and checks by the schedule in the manual and everything is fine. Runs like it did when I bought it. It is a great bike so far.

Congratulations on the new wheels!

Congrats! I just my 2015 F3s and coming from 2 wheels, I can agree it is vastly different but fun to ride. Check the for sale threads on this forum for used items. Windshields seem to be on there a lot. My favorite colors are blue, black, so after seeing the 2019’s the decision was easy to paint mine blue and black from the original black and orange. Enjoy your new toy, and keep in mind that customizing these things is like tattoo’s. Once you start, you can’t stop.

:congrats: To your wife on her New Spyder F3s. Nice looking bike I like the blue color. Let the Miles of smiles begin!

When I bought my 2019 F3-S, the dealer had both the blue (demo unit with 400 miles) or new in crate black. I opted for the black, but the blue is very nice :) . Enjoy !

I'm guessing you bought the F3-S for its sporty factor? If so, consider a Madstad 14" dark gray windscreen. It can be adjusted up/down/forward/back. It doesn't look like a sail on the front of your sporty intended ride. Also, I outsourced my floorboards to a couple local guys. A high school classmate of my daughter cut me out some T6061 boards to my dimensions for $60. A local Line-X dealer sprayed them for $50. The local hardware store had the SS nuts and bolts for a few $$. They work great! Just my .02
