There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Bob, your age is showing :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
While age is a factor....:opps: I've found that lonnnnngggggg road trips cause excessive numbing of the buttox region, so I bought a gel seat pad and my O my what a difference did that make! :D

I've always been pretty happy with the OEM seat. ;)
It's the two, 600 mile back-to-back days that have me a little bit concerned...

Just looking for some options..

My buttox are hurting after 125 miles and I can't go any more without a 10 minute break. What gel seat pad did you get?

John

It was a generic, $75 gel seat, I was told to go buy a bunch of different ones but I didn't want spend hundreds of dollars on one and not like it then be stuck with it, so I decided to try a cheaper version and danged it if didn't do the job. I went on an 800 mile trip in one day and man it worked great.

No I haven't

Can't say that I have heard of them. I find the OEM seat on our RS works pretty well. Have to stop ever 180 miles anyway to gas up and that gives us a bit of a stretch. :ohyea:

I too bought a generic seat pad, and found that on a long trip this really helped me. I remove it at a fill up, then replace it on the next fill up, then remove the next fill up, and so on. This was when I had my RS, and as of yet the furthest I have gone on my RT is 525 miles in one day and did not need my gel pads.

Yes, it's annoying to have to remove it for fill ups, but my hubby helped with that, he ordered me a stiffer lift shock for under the seat so it could hold the increased weight, now I don't have to take it off the seat to fill the tank up! It was a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a whole new seat!

Naw, you have to stop so much more for gas than a traditional bike....You'll get to the point where you just glance at your gauge and mentally say, "Just a few more miles, then butt break!" LOL and coincidentally the increase in gas stops also covers the need for the potty breaks....:) which always seems to happen right after you get going from the last gas stop. LOL

Besides... With the noise that I've got in my IPod for listening; I'm good!

I have never seen this product before. From the looks of it--I would not be investing any money in one. I would recommend going with a known quantity.

Air Hawk, Alaska Leather Sheepskin/gel butt pad, or something like that.

If anyone buys one--let us know how they work.

EDIT: I did not scroll down far enough on one of the pages to find the prices. They are posted. $55-$107. I removed my comment about red flag/no prices shown.
