• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Broken Antenna - bad to worse HELP

I recently broke my antenna. While trying to take the base of the antenna out of the antenna holding bracket it snapped off inside the base. I have an easy out so I tried to get it out using that but may have damaged the mounting base that the antenna screws into. Can this be replaced? How do you get to it to take the original base out and put a new one in?

If I remember correctly, you need to take the rear panel off, then there are 3 screws inside the trunk to undo and that whole section the antenna sits in can be removed and disassembled. Not terribly difficult.

Assuming you're talking about an RT ?

You can remove that whole pod by removing 3 screws in the trunk--- then tear the rest of it apart and remove the mount if needed.

I busted mine off this week too.... ordering a shorty antennae......
