• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yep, got up right and early this morning to finally take my MC class. I'll be practicing on an old 250cc all day today and tomorrow.:2thumbs:

I can already see a spyder in my garage come next April!!!

Watch out here I come.

Yeah, it's time for my refresher real soon. I understand MFS is working on a 3-wheel course, too.
welcome

Be sure to check Rob's in Johnson Creek when your ready to order/buy. I've had nothing but great service from them since June, when I bought my Spyder from them.

ElkSpyder, I already checked Rob's Performance in Johnson Creek (which is about an hour from me) and the guys were very helpful answering my questions. When I got back hoe I found out that Uke's (20 minutes from me) in Kenosha sells spyders. Friendly staff and got a chance to try one in their back yard. I'll probably buy it there since it is so much closer.

Well so far I was afraid about being able to operate the clutch, but the way the class is structured, it makes it so easy. I'm very happy I decided to take the class. I'll take the computer test at the DMV next week and order my spyder afterwards.

Cloud 9 this weekend for sure.

Can't wait top join you guys for a ride!

Congrats

Hi Bersquack,

:congrats::yes::yes::yes:

I have a couple of questions. Were you told that if you ordered in October, you would take :spyder: delivery in April? Is it possible to place an order now to lock in the price (before the rumored increase) and request an August-September delivery?:dontknow:

StSpyder, my dealer already has the 2009 price sheet, so I can order now, pick it up in April, but pay 2009 prices. If you had ordered before the price sheet went out, I guess maybe it would have been possible to pay 2008 prices.

Safety Course

Yep i took the Rider Safety Class last weekend, it was fun but sure sucked having to ride for 5 hours straight lol my back was killing me by the time we got done. lol but man that was one of the best things a person can do if your thinking about purchasing a can am or a motorcycle in general. the info and experience u receive is invaluable and of course i did pass with flying colors lol i missed 1 on riding test and 2 on written test and then when i went to dmv to take written i missed only 1 on that one as well i found it to be a very easy test so i should be getting my endorsment from taking that safety course in the mail somtime in the near future and then i shall have my M1 licsence even though my state doesnt require one to ride the Can AM. its still nice to have it :2thumbs: to anyone who takes the time to teach others the proper and safe way to operate a motorcycle. Whooooot
