• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Break squeal; & CRC products

wobbles

So, everyone that has used CRC Brakleen and disc quiet.... I spayed the brakleen and all was well although the crc disc quiet directions say to remove the pads and spray on the back metal side of the pad. Specifically stating NOT to apply to the side of the pad that touches the rotor or to the rotors themselves. Yet, people have stated that they didn't remove anything and just sprayed the stuff on.!? I don't get it. How and where are you applying the disc quiet? Help...!!!! ---- On a side note: The brakleen alone worked for about 1-2 hours of riding and then a little squeal came back. So I "bedded" the brakes like I've read of doing, 60 mph or so and hard brake to 20-30 mph then up to 60 and hard brake to 30 and so on-- about 5 - 7 times...( you'll need a good stretch of straight road and watch there is noone behind you as that could be dangerous or they could think that you've lost your mind.)... then stop bike and let rotors cool, careful not to apply and hold brakes while the rotor is that hot. May cause warping or something like that.....Anyhow, let her sit and cool for about 15 min and you know what .... I think it worked. Very very little to no noise from brakes for the rest of the day. But I still want to know the trick to the CRC products just in case the squeal returns. Thanks.
