• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fairly simple as far as brake fluid goes......replace your fluid with some high-temp fluid (Motul, Castrol, Valvoline Syn, etc.) I'd also look into your braking habits. Are you on the brakes for long periods of time or do you hit them hard and late which is the best way to keep the heat down? Three discs on an 850 lb machine should dissipate a lot of heat, I would think.

Options...

you do have to make major changes to the system if you go to the DOT5 types. But you must have other issues with the system you have. Check that you don't have some other heat source affecting your fluid, like exhaust parts or engine parts....seems like that breakdown of your fluid should be affecting your pads and discs as well...:dontknow:

update

Exactly, my point is, if i can just simply change the fluid to DOT5 or not really. I doubt there is anything with the system appart than i drive agresive. We do have here some mountain roads long for 50-60km with some big U-curves and it hits the bike. That is the reason i was asking about the another, higher"boil" option

Do NOT use DOT 5 brake fluid in your spyder. It is silicone based and will cause you all kinds of problems. They are not compatible.

You really need to look at using the engine braking more and service brakes less. Use a good quality DOT4 fluid, flush and refill.
