• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brakes making sounds since Elkas installed

Ever since I had the Elkas installed, my brakes are making intermittent clicking/clunking sounds when applied. I especially hear it from the Right front brake. Brakes seem to work just fine, just making that funky sound. Any suggestions as to what to look for? Hubby will be available to check for loose parts and things this coming weekend. I'm pretty clueless about that so need any help I can get. Thanks in advance!!

2012 RT-S SE5, if that helps

That sounds just like my 2012 RSS on the left wheel my caliper pads have some for play movement and make a bit of a clicking sound otherwise the brakes work well it may be the retainer clips?

Many have the coil over springs hitting some of the plastic covers on the suspension. Check for clearance there. Just bounce the suspension while parked

My stock 2012 RT-S also makes the loud click when the brakes are applied. It has done this from day 1. It is much worst after changing direction, going backward then foreword.

It is so stranger because my brakes never made this sound before and they make them whether the bike is totally still or moving. I guess John and I will look really hard for any loose bits and tighten them if found. Hmmm...
