• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake Pedal

I have a problem with the brake pedal on my 2012 RT limited. Was riding today and went to set cruise and it wouldn't set. Because of having same problem on another bike I put my foot under the brake pedal and lifted up and problem solved. I have also noticed a number of times that brake light will stay on after parking bike. If this happens I can do the same thing lift up on pedal and it goes out.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix.
Thanks

to tight

I removed my painted footpegs and supports to have them chromed. When i put them back on the bike my brake pedal started sticking. The brake lights would be on and my foot would not be on the brake pedal. I forgot to put the two washers on the back side of the support. One washer on each side of the rubber bushing in the brake pedal. If you have not removed your pedal before, just back off the nut that holds your brake pedal and peg. Do it very little at a time just enough to see if the pedal will stop sticking. You don't want to back off a lot and have a loose peg or pedal and it mess around and come off completely. If this works keep checking on it often to make sure it stays tight and not loose. This what i did to my :spyder: and i didn't have anymore issues.

They operate off of a cam that pushes the little "arms" that are part of the switch. You'd have to re-orient that cam...
