I mentioned (another thread) that the brake lever is too high for my wife's liking. Her legs are short, so UFit position A is where it needs to be. I was ready to cut and re-weld the brake rod, but another option struck me. The brake rod has a hole in each end for mounting. There is enough room left to drill another hole 1/2" inboard of the OEM hole. This can be done on each end for maximum change. I did it on one end only and the pedal moved to a much better position. If she wants more, I can do the other side, too. It takes 2 minutes to remove the rod, 5 minutes to drill/file the 5/16" hole, 5 minutes to slightly trim at the point of assembly if needed, and 2 minutes to re-install. It was very easy and, in my opinion, there is enough steel around my drilled hole to be as strong as the OEM hole. One poor pic attached.
