• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Body panel fit?

Our 2008 Spyder was delivered 2 days ago and I have been looking it over, setting and adjusting anything I feel needs it. One thing that I noticed( I can be pretty anal about this stuff) is the fitment of the side panels to the top panel under/behind the bars. The is a noticeable gap and what appears to be a tab on the side panel, with about a 1/2"(13mm) gap between the two panels. The tab is visible even after pulling the screws and realigning it. Is this common, or do I need to remove a few more pieces to get them all aligned? Thanks,Woodsy.

The tab should fit under the top panel. Soemtimes a bit tricky to get fit right. If necessary, loosen the Y-panel (top) and push it down a bit before you tighten it. I have considered extending the tab on one side of our Spyder, or covering it with rubber, since it pops out readily on bumps on one side. The other side fits fine. Inherent in the breed, I guess.
