Rode the BRP today from 225 to 170 markers, Pipers Gap to Meadows of Dan. Color good on top 3,000 and up. This means gitty up go for color, watch for traffic. As Willy Nelson sang, "Blue Hairs driving in my lane."

Thanks for the update. I will be going there this Saturday. My plan is to get on the BRP around Boone, and take it down to Little Switzerland.

Think you and I passed going in opposite directions yesterday. I was heading south from Tuggles Gap to the exit for route 89. I was on a Black Honda CB1100. Probably around 1:30

I think I saw ya. I had two red Goldwings following. We were out for a day ryde.

Wife and I will be heading up Monday morning. Two nights in Waynesville, will do cherola, maybe dragon and surrounding roads. Then up to little Switzerland inn on Wednesday via the rattler. We LOVE the Switzerland inn!

Here is a color report for west Texas to Nevada. The 4 Maple trees I saw on the way were in full color. :roflblack:
