Well, Stephen Hawking can give up the search for a black hole.:2thumbs: One is easy to find as soon as you take a couple of panels off to do some work on a Spyder. I even had a rag under the front lights while I was getting the high beams out........the bloody nut slipped between my fingers, bounced off the rag, dropped down into the frunk section, went rattle rattle rattle and simply disappeared from view. I swear that the hole that the 9mm nut went through was only 8mm wide . Oh well, I'll take the grille off and get it that way......noooooooo......there is a panel underneath the frunk box and the nut has obviously slipped between the panel and the bottom pan. That bloody space is only 6mm wide:shocked:.....oh well, time for some more space exploration. Off with some more plastic rivets.....lift corner of panel and wave a magic magnetic wand around in the darkness of the black hole........bang......it's grabbed something.....hope it isn't the bloody Tardis.......yesssssss.....it's my missing nut (so to speak:yikes
.
hyea:. Before reinstalling said nut, I covered the whole front of the Spyder with a huge bedsheet. This of course then guaranteed that I would not drop anything
On the plus side, I was able to give the grille a good clean while I was down there. These days, I don't like to get all the way down on the floor unless I can perform several functions at the same time
......it never quite works that way though, as the 5th Torx screw that you have to remove is a 25.....and you only have a 10, 15, 17, 20, 30, 35 and 40 on the floor with you. The 25 is on the bench, just out of reach.
I am now having a beer and a good lie down, pondering the workings of the universe :2thumbs:
