• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Black Friday shopping?

I'm wondering what kinds of stuff SpyderLovers are buying today. :dontknow:

I am not one to storm the doors at the mall on black Friday, but I do like online shopping. I'm going to budget for some TricLED stuff at Spyderfest, so I'm resisting Reggie's sale today.

I had had my eye on a new Schuberth C3 helmet, but I bought a new helmet in Texas last month when my old one broke. Now Revzilla has them for $300 off today! Dang! :sour:

But I did order a GoPro4 Silver. Now I'll have this winter to play with it and plan which accessories to get.

So what's new for you all?

i would never go shopping on black friday. i do most of my shopping on line now. i don't need anything for the bike so no need to look

Adding an iPad mini as my GPS

Walmart has the iPad mini at around 199 so I'm planning to get one and use it as my new GPS and music storage device for spyder.

No retail shopping for me today! No luv for Black Friday

No retail shopping for me today. In fact I am aiming to all online this year!

Plenty of online deals to be had! We have a number of mounts for accessories that are made just for the Spyder You may want to check them out!

Dear Patti,

If any of the items TricLED has on sale today are things you're going to buy during Spyderfest, I would consider buying them today. Then, bring them with you to Spyderfest and have them installed by Reggy and his people. Remember, they're his products so I'm sure he'll install them (at their regular installation prices).

Depending on what you're getting, you could save a few bucks.

Just my two cents.

...But then he'd have to buy them for himself...

Oh! My Christmas Shopping is already completed; I never go anywhere near a store on Black Friday! nojoke
So instead; I went for a 65 mile ride!

We are not participants in the shop till you drop scenario that went on last night and is going on today. Trying to find a mobility cart or using my wheelchair is like playing dodge-em cars at a carnival. We stay home.

Did some internet shopping for "special" gift items over the last week--including some yesterday. One order is here already (hope Linda will like it), and the others should be popping up as filled and shipped in the next 24 hours or so.

Our new helmets are going to wait until spring, because color coordination/match are important to me. I will get them local when my favorite shop runs it's annual 20% off sale in the spring.

Happy to say that we are pretty content. :spyder2::ani29: are well outfitted, my music room is full, and I do not have much need for to many more toys.

We are treating ourselves to a week in Vegas before the year ends. Going to meet up with my brother and his spouse again--as well as some :spyder2: friends old and newly met.

I did actually go out and do a little shopping, but I didn't go out until after 8am. By then, the crowds had gone down, and I was able to just walk in, get what I wanted, and go. I picked up a printer for my daughter, a TV for my office, and another tablet.

well i did go shopping today, i just got home. i have a gas station i go to about 40 minutes from here that have a great hot food section. the cook, shorty, became a friend of mine and he cooks fantastic. lots of spicy food that i love. so i fought the traffic of the shopping malls just to go pick up food for me and the dogs for the next couple of days.

Cuznjohn:

There is something not right about going to the gas station for food.

Do you know the distance from there to NY Presbyterian Hospital? I like sausage and peppers sandwiches.

Now, back on topic. I ordered one of these:
