• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Black Dymond Detailer

With my first organized ryde of the year coming up, I went out to the garage, this morning to check tire pressure, make sure my Garmin is charged, and, generally, ensure I am ready to ryde on Saturday morning on the Maryland Spyder Web's White's Ferry Ryde.

While I was at it, I grabbed a non-aerosol bottle of Black Dymond Detailer (BDD), just to "touch up" a few things, and to remove finger prints from my mirror (had to replace that plastic disk, this winter :banghead: on the right side)

I ended up going over the entire Spyder, and was amazed, once again, how great that stuff is! Since I cleaned it, earlier this Spring m(soap and water in the driveway), it just had the typical garage dust on it. What amazed me was how little of the BDD I needed to use to end up with a mirror like surface. By the time I'd done just a few pieces of Tupperware, there was enough detailer on the microfiber cloth I was using to do the rest - one side was damp, the other dry, and I simply wiped with the damp side of the cloth, then buffed with the dry side. I stood back and looked, when I was half done, and could not believe the difference.

This stuff is great!

We can tell riding season has started as the Lamonster Garage detailer is flying out the doors right now. I'm also getting request for gallon jugs of it. :doorag:

Good Stuff...

Glad you got your ryde all polished up and ready to ryde.. Lamont's products are top notch and your can be sure you are using the best. Black Diamond does a great job....I use it after most rydes though the rains have helped keep the arid areas from dusting us up they have brought out the bugs....

Can you use it on cars as well? Or is it only for plastic?
We have folks that love it for there cars.
We love Lamont Bryden's Black Dymond Detailer. Really brings out the Holographic metal flake on the bike and..... it's NOT just for Spyders! Our Mazda Miata sparkles!

Does the non-aerosol version foam up like the can does?

No, the foaming action is only part of the aerosol product and helps with the wetting process.
