• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, for starters there will be a lot of bikes. There will also be vendor's booths. You will find the temperature to be around the mid 60s in the morning and low to mid 80s for the high. (if the weather stays as it is right now).

BRP will have a designated area for their marketing. If you are facing the race track, the area will be to the right of the center grand stands. You will see a "trailer" with BRP/CanAm logo. When you get to the BRP site, you will see our fearless and congenial forum administrator, Lamonster, and his beautiful spyder. I also believe there will be spyder demos at the site.

There will be entertainment (not necessarily at the racetrack), but around Daytona. If you've ever been to BikeWeek at Daytona, then Biketoberfest is like it, but on a smaller scale. Someone had mentioned that you can ride the race track. I thought that was only available during Bike Week.

You will meet several spyder owners and get a chance to "share" with them. I have been privileged to have met some really great people at Daytona.

Hope this helps.

Chris

Daytona

Thanks for the info. I'm also a nascar fan and did see on a website for Daytona that the track will be open to drive on plus they are having some type of motorcyle racing for the racers. I will definitely look up Lamonster and picking up some more pins and patches.
