• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Big Men's Gear; Help

I am in Louisiana so heat and humidity are real issues here. Not looking to revive a tired thread regarding what to wear when riding, just help finding gear suitable for us big guys; and gals, as wife will be getting her own Spyder in the not too distant future.

I am a big guy, 6'1" 325# currently, 54" waist and chest. Any suggestions on where to find mesh gear that would actually fit? Preferably without having to obtain a second mortgage :D Thanks in advance

Most of all, stay safe but ENJOY THE RYDE!

I’m a big guy too... 6’ 320 52/54 chest but a smaller waist. Olympia fits me very well. They have been having some issues but I reached out to them and seems some new lines are being released. I needed to find something new and since I couldn’t find Olympia I wanted went with Klim... expensive but amazing and fits very well. Good luck on the search

Check "Revzilla". They have an extensive list of manufacturers they stock. Tom :spyder:

6'2" 260. I went with First Gear. I bought a leather jacket from them in 1993 that still looks good and a textile jacket (Kilimanjaro) in 2011 that still looks good. BajaRon or motorcycledave both sell this stuff at deep discounts. They are both sponsors here. I have also used Joe Rocket mesh since 2001(Phoenix 1.0). All the above come 3x and 4x sizes.

Thanks all! I have visited Cycle Gear, specifically to try on a Bilt Blaze 2 in 4X. Sadly it wouldn't zip. I do need to go back and try more on. They were extremely busy when I was there so didn't get much help. I have been checking Revzilla and many other online stores.

I'm a big dude too, wear 4x or 5x depending on fit. CycleGear has a lot of the same brands but plenty of choices at various price ranges.
