• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Best way to ship spyder across canada ????

Hey Everyone, whats the best way to ship your Spyder across Canada? Moving across the country. Anyone ever shipped theres by train or truck? Lookin for some ideas.

I can call motorcycle shipping company such as U-ship. If you have place to keep it buy 6x12 trailer with drop down ramp and take it with you. Make sure ramp is 5-1/2 foot wide.

Do you know any long haul truckers? Here in Maine I have a few friends that go cross country making hauls coast to coast!

ARtraveler just brought TWO down from Alaska to Arkansas …. PM Him ….. Mike :ohyea:

Two Spyders and one Kawi Vulcan. Cost of the move was $12K with none of the extra high priced insurance. They also included the household goods. It took 70 days to get here. I would not recommend the household movers method.

Give Team Vincent Motorsports in AYR a call. Talk with Dave. They have contacts with a company and have crated up several Spyders for customers who shipped their bikes out west to Edmonton and then rode them back home.
