Best belt tensioner for my Spyder RTS 2013

I am looking for a belt tensioner. There are few models available. Difficult to figure out which one would be best for me.

I have seen the one from smoothspyder which is on back order but expected to be available within the next weeks. This model seems very nice and easy to install using existing hole and nothing to be removed nor replaced.

You all, owner of a belt tensioner, do certainly have good advise.
Which one should I go for?

p.s. does BRP have one ?

Best belt tensioner

I have had 3 different ones on my bike including the one you mentioned and none of the worked. UNTIL, I tried DOC Humphreys from Roadster Renovations, BAM, no more vibration. You can find many people to testify as to his product. Not expensive and easy to install.

Oh. I see you're in Switzerland. I'm assuming that your European 2013RT has the outer ribbed belt. If the outside of your belt is smooth, get the other Kit #3.

Doc's version has a MUCH superior dual-bearing setup... :thumbup:

...And there were reports of BRP's tensioner suffering bearing failures at around 2,500 miles.

Rollers with dual bearings can be purchased online for mere dollars that you can upgrade to. That's what I did. No problems on my end.
