Belt tensioner compatible with SpyderPops Rock guard?

I have the SpyderPops Rock guard already installed. I am noticing vibration at highway speeds, so I am considering a belt tensioner.

Not having seen any installed, I need to ask if there are any issues with installing both products?

Also, I assume the rear wheel must be off the ground during the tension check process?

I had to trim just a little bit off the rock guard with my dremel. It was super easy to do

There is no interference with the belt guard with the standard front mount tensioner for the RT's.
The tensioner should be set with the wheels on the ground.
Raising the spyder with the rear wheel off the ground will decrease the static tension and allow more deflection in the belt for the tensioner to take up. Once on the ground the deflection would be slightly less and the tension on the tensioner would increase slightly.

on model spyder and tensioner. Also how well the rock guard was installed (if installed first). I have an RS 2012 with the tensioner installed after the rock guard. The rock guard ended up getting pushed into the belt and cracking. This created a vibration of its own and I finally had to remove it. But like I said it depends..:thumbup:
