• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BELT TENSION

Depends...

Some of us run on the loose side 160-200. But if you have a tensioner, ryde double up more than solo or do more freeway and not so many curvy road it coud vary. Rule of thumb is you should not be able to twist the belt 90° about 45-60. Sonic testers are the ones used by the dealers and if you have a friendly one they could bounce it a few times for you....

I've been running 140 with the wheel off the ground and no vibration. What's the point of checking with the wheel on ground?

Less work for a quick check.....as long as you are comparing apples to apples.;)
