• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Belt tension on the 14's

Looking for a reference point for my Kricket tool, is the belt tension the same on the 14RT's as the 13RT's? Right now my Kricket tool is clicking at 240lbs. with the bike on the ground.

As was stated the belt tension for the 2014 RT is 1050 +/- 150 newtons or in pounds is 236 +/- 33.6 pounds. You say you are seeing 240lbs with it sitting on the ground which means if you jack the rear tire up off the ground and take a reading you are going to be wicked loose. In order to use the Kricket as a reference to check the tension of your belt ,the belt HAS to adjusted using the Electronic meter first. I am not a fan of the one finger click it method because it can't be read with any accuracy.

I have checked my belt with the tire on the ground and off the ground... less than 10 lbs difference...

Well since the bike is less than a week old and still under 200 miles that has me thinking it's loose from the factory or the Kricket tool is just useless. Belt seems tight like a rubber band and is tracking good, maybe just a tad wide but within range. I have a little more tooth showing on the right side than the left side, I think the spec on the clearance is 1/16 to 3/16 gap, I'm closer to the 3/16 side.
