Belt reminder....

I check the belt and sprokets regularly, the other day I found molded into the teeth of the sproket a tar blob with grit embeded grinding away at the belt. Really hard to see even harder on a black speoket. Sharp chisel to get it out and a round file to make it all smooth. Just a reminder those belts aren't cheap...:yikes:

Glad you mentioned it. Here in my neck of the woods the DOT has been active refinishing secondary roads with the tar/fine gravel method. Takes forever for the excess gravel to get run off the highway. Will check my belt more frequent now.
