• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone have any experience with these? I have heard nothing but great stuff about the Bells and their comeback to the top. Their new 2010 Star Helmet is top of the line and they have made some fit improvements.

Anyway, that is all stuff I have read but I havent seen one in person...

This is the one I want

Another reason, is the Photochromic Transitions visor that Akuma and Bell both make now that is also supposed to be improved. No more switching visors, it automatically tints...

I don't know about the helmet, but I now have a Photochromatic visor for my GMax helmet. It does not get as dark as a permanently tinted face shield is; however, since I wear glasses it is great to not have to switch shields or carry my sunglass lenses along with me.

Do you know the company who makes the visor? Do you have any pictures of it tinted...would love to see it if you do.

I now have the Bell helmet, but the visor doesn't come out for a few more weeks.

It is by "WikiShift" and you can find out more about it here:

This one fits certain GMax helmets, but I am sure they make others as well.

I will try to get some pictures for you very soon. It is already dark now, so no chance of seeing it tinted tonight. :)

$400.00 helmet...wow...

I love my HJC IS-16...it has a sunshade that drops down and retracts when it's dark out...I have no need for anything fancier but the mirror look is pretty cool. I'd think the prices would come down in a year or two...about the time I'd be looking for a new helmet...
