There is another thread up that applauds the Baker Air Wings but I thought I would expand on the things we have done to counter the heat. To date we have made six mods to my wife's RT over the past year to minimize her discomfort from the heat. (she is a rider, not a passenger).
First, she made a directional vent out of a plastic cake holder, cut in half and bolted that over the right side vent to direct the heat away from the bike. Then we read about a vent made out of rubberized nylon made by Avon products so we changed the cake holder out for that. Then we heard about ram induction vents made by Vertika out of Canada, so we ordered and installed them. Still the heat persisted so we installed the Spyder Pops blocker and the Converter shields.
Then we added the Baker Air Wings and that is the best mod yet to counter heat. She can adjust the wings to move air around and claims this is the most effective thing we have done.
I just though I would share.
