• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bear collision in Wyoming.

Glad the outcome was better than expected. A collision with a bear would be right up there with hitting a moose. They have similar mass.

It sounds as if this encounter worked out just about as well as anyone could have expected...

...including the bear! :yikes:

Wow scary for them and scary for the bear/cubs too. Gosh to think something like this can happen, but of course anything can happen.

Amazing the bike stayed upright. I would have loved to know what bike it was; It was a 2 wheeler, probably a GW, Victory, or HD? It had to be a pretty heavy bike not to go down getting hit on the side by a running bear. Good thing he didn't try to swerve or the bear might have knocked him over. On coming to a stop, he had good control to probably stop leaning to the right (good leg) and stabilize the ride to lower the kick stand with the bad leg.

Wow.
