• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Battery Disconnect and etc

I'm a very new owner of a 2014 RT Ltd SE6 and I have two questions (today);). First, how long can the battery be disconnected before memory memory and settings are lost? Second, I only ride solo and take no more than 50# of gear. My weight with safety gear is 180#. Will a BajaRon sway bar have a measurable affect on the handling of this 2014 considering the weight of rider and gear? My dealer suggests that it will not. Your responses will be appreciated sincerely. Thank you.

Let's see..!!

once you disconnect the battery your settings will go back to factory settings. That is clock time mph/kph etc. Others will stay set like mileage. As for weather or not to get the BajaRon sway bar will depend on your ryding style. You need to put some miles on the roadster and see if you feel you need better handling. Almost all those that have gotten the bar have been very pleased but they are mostly pre 2014 ryders and felt they needed more....

I have to totally disagree. I have removed the battery from the Spyder and put away for winter storage. In the spring reinstalled the battery and none of the setting where lost. You can lose settings easy enough by turning the key off, then on, then off again for example when forgetting to set the parking brake.
