• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If I don't keep my trickly charger on my 2011 RT my battery
runss down after 10 to 14 days and bike won't start. Have
others found this to be true with their Spyders?????

There are many tests you can do with a multi meter to determine what is wrong, but the first things to consider are the battery, the charging system and the radio.
the battery may be faulty, the charging system may be faulty, or the radio could be slow draining the system. The radio has been know in some cases to be the culprit and I believe there is a test that the shop can do and BRP tends to replace faulty radios. But keep an eye on the battery as draining the battery too much is harmful to it. I can have the bike in the toy chest for months without a battery tender and it will start right up.
Good luck

:agree: On the few occasions that mine has sat for a couple of weeks; there was no problem with getting the fires lit again. There's got to be some sort of parasitic draw somewhere, and radios are a known culprit...
