• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BajaRon is holding his First Annual Rally

Baja Ron and Daniel and their team had a great rally. Great turn out, good weather and some great riding.
The Poker Run had some great stops and good riding roads in between stops.
I am sure next years will be bigger and better.
Thanks to Ron and Daniel and the team for all the hard work to make this happen.
Thank you very much it was fun!!

I really wish I had been able to make this. My plan was to head up Saturday morning early and make it a day trip. But the forecast was looking very dismal at best. So we decided to sat this one out. We definitely plan on making this next year.

We had a great time meeting everyone! It was great having Lamont (Lamonster) & Harvey (SpyderPops) here. I even got them to work on some Spyders with me! Visions of the early days.

It rained when it didn't matter and the sun came out when it did. I know the forecast scared some off. But it really turned out fine. Windy for the poker run. But the people who got sway bars were impressed.

Thank you EVERYONE! You are what made it worthwhile!

Yes, Ron and his "family" did a great job! They even did a good job singing. Thanks again to all. Tom :spyder:

Rode down Friday from Huntley illlinois arrived soaked but weather was great Friday afternoon and Saturday Sunday, won portion of poker run and had Led's installed front and back returned Monday 1800 miles plus , time for bed!

We had many who traveled quite a distance. Many from Florida. Harvey and Co. rode from Arkansas. The longest distance that I know of was from Wisconsin. Did anyone ride further than that to our Rally?

Ron, I hate I missed it. Best laid plans sometimes get changed by life. Hope it becomes an annual thing.

Thank you for posting, michaelalvis. We didn't account for everyone. But at least 63 people attended the event. We purposefully engineered this to be a small event. I would rather have 50 happy people than 300 sorry they came! By all accounts. We did accomplish that goal.

We are currently looking at dates for next years event. BRP sent a rep to our shop yesterday. He said that 'Corporate had heard good things about the event'. I don't know. Do they send out spies?

He said that BRP is interested in participating in next years event. Some vendors have also indicated interest in coming next time.

I don't think it will be difficult to make the event bigger. But I also want to do all we can to make it better. #1 goal is for everyone to have a great time. If we miss that target, nothing else really matters.

A big thank you to those who braved our first, ever, Spyder/Ryker in the Smokies event. You made it FANTASTIC!
