• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2013 STS with the oem backrest and the wife finds it to be uncomfortable on her back, I looked at the Can Am parts catalog for a replacement pad that had more cushion but didnt see anything, I saw some online that are made to go on a sissy bar but was not sure if the bolt patterns would line up, I called one vendor I saw online and they didnt know the width between the holes for the screws. Has anyone used an aftermarket backrest pad or got one reupholstered?

No I haven't had the oem st backrest upholstered but note that it's the same as the one I used to have on the RS - the black padding part unscrews from the painted frame of the backrest, so is it worth trying unscrewing and taking it to a motor-trimmer for more padding and a cover? or even unscrewing and wrapping with sheepskin? That is, presuming you want to keep the backrest and not switch to utopia or other option.
