BACK TO A SPYDER

First, thanks to those who offered support and encouragement in my endeavor to sell my Harley TriGlide so that I could return to Spyder ownership. (See WTB/For Sale thread). I'm happy to say that I now own a 2014 RTS SE6 in Timeless Black. (Two attempts to upload a photo failed). Though no Spyder dealer wanted the Harley in a trade, Johnny Ks in Burbank, OH offered the most with "other considerations" included. Once I learned that Harley's extended warranties cannot be transferred to brokers or dealers and that I could get a substantial refund of the cost of that warranty, a trade-in became feasible. In effect that reduced my overall expenditure. By the way, Johnny Ks has about six RTs and Limiteds in stock.

I had to go to a low quality (small file size) on my camera in order to get the pics to post. Try that - my larger files size won't work. Best wishes for a great year on your new bike! :2thumbs:

The dealer in Memphis has a 2014 RTS in Black also. FRS Powersports. I drove over today to take a first look of a 2014 and they really look good, but I'm not a big fan of the color black.

I am glad someone in the Buckeye State has gotten one. My dealer had a cognac RT-S in his online current inventory but when I went there to see it it wasn't there. I live in Fostoria, about 40 miles south of Toledo. This brutal January weather we've been having has put a stop to anything related to motorcycles. Hopefully we will get an early Spring!!
