• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

yesterday i took the back rest off my 14 rt and sent it back to the people i bought it off of. when i took my ride upstate last tuesday to have the shocks done the back rest lasted till just over the tappan z bridge and i couldn't take it anymore. the people i bought it off of is taking a 10% re stocking fee being it is now used but i don't care because i am just happy to get rid of it.
i would suggest that anyone looking to buy one, you should find someone that has one and sit on the bike to see if you like it b4 you buy one

Try it before you buy it! Good recommendation, I rode with out one for the first few trips, it killed my back. . Since I bought one I can ride All day.
Ryde safe!

I don't have a back rest but I've been thinking of getting one. Now I'm not so sure. Cuzn...what was it doing to your back that was bad? I'm a large guy, too, and any info you have would be very helpful.

to be honest i have the comfort seat on the bike and i tend to sit really far back on it, so the back rest made me feel like i was sitting on a stock seat and pushing me forward so i just hated it
