• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Back in the Saddle again, well sorta, maybe

I bought a new 2013 ST Limited and brought it home in a trailer. I did ride it around the dealership a half circle then drove it up on a flat 2' high wall full 6'X12' trailer from Tracy, CA. No fool like a old fool. I thought I was buying SM5, right up until I walked up to it. SE5. What a shocker, but I got a good deal on it and maybe it will slow me down a little. Got the Blackcurrant color, a real change from the Yellow and Black. So any suggestions, recommendations, and the Clint Eastwood kind the good, the bad and the ugly advice is most welcome. Its about driving me crazy setting in the garage and I can't ride it for another 4 weeks. Then I got to go slow for a couple more months.
You all ryde safe.

Well, lets start with :congrats: on your new ride.

I am guessing that after about 1000 miles or so, you will not miss the SM5. The SE5 still makes you shift up, so your still in control. You can shift down yourself or let the shifter do it. I found that by doing it myself at about 4000 for all but 2nd to 1st, you get a seamless, less clunky shift. You just need to search for the sweet spot on your machine. For that final shift, I use about 3000 rpm.

I would hold off on the farkles and run it for a few miles to see what you think it needs.

Hope you can get back on the Spyder sooner than expected.

Have to agree..!!

The ryde will help you decide on everything. Never ryden an se5/6 model so can't help you there but for sure you will adjust to it. Farkels are two fold..what you need (safety and comfort) and what you want (sparkles and bling). Again ryde to decide...

Adding some pictures and must have rattled my brain when I wrecked the 09

I have been trying to turn the radio of the last 3 days. Must be losing my mind. So someone please tell me how. I could turn the volume down but would rather know how to turn it off and on.
I am adding a few pictures of the 2013 ST-Limited.

Hold The Volume Buttons

Hold the down volume control button for a few seconds to mute, hold the up volume control button to unmute. Punch the buttons to run the volume up and down.
