There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Awesome Test ryde #2

So my wife decieded to come along with me. This is great for she loves a spirited ryde and is the fist to complain when the nanny chimes in...So as we know I did a solo ryde with the shock re-locators from Mike (BLUEKNIGHT911) but I did not have optimal settings much less a two up situation. We took off in our winter weather...84°... and headed up to a small mountain minning town about 4,000 feet up but clearing 6,000 to get there. Very good workout for all involved especially one's suspension. Many twists both uphill and down with about 6 hairpin turns. Did the short route 100+ miles about 2+ hours of driving time.

I have too say the ryde was great. I usually have to do a lot of leaning but now just a slight bend at the waist. Much less tiring and less stress on the upper body. The handling is much improved with two as it is solo. Not even a great deal of speed difference (if you have a willing and participating passenger). I would definately recommend this as a step before goining into the high priced shocks out there. I do have the FOX shocks up front but got them cheap but set almost at the lowest point so the stock shocks would work well on the low setting.

With the BajaRon sway bar, Squared Away laser alignment and Mike's shock re-locators this is now one sweet ryde for the energetic ryder. But even for passive ryder it will be a much less tiring ryde....

Thanks Gene, this report is pretty much what I expected about how the Brackets feel & assist the handling .... Hearing it from a seasoned rider does make me feel good .... My opinion is biased ...yours isn't ..... They are designed to RETAIN the normal comfortable ride , but when pushed in the " TWISTIES ", they will give a FIRMER ride ( but not harsh ) ...... again Thanks for trying them out, and I hope you keep them on....... Mike

sounds like a great day!
any chance for pics of the shocks?
interesting to see what they look like in their new position

If you go to my profile in the album's to the lower left the first one shows the steps I took. Picture #5 You can see two bolts. The one to the back is the original mounting point and the shock is now in the new location. This is on my RS yours may be different...:dontknow:

That indeed is a great review, and I can tell all of you that when ryding with Mike in Maggie Valley, his beast does handle quite differently than other RT's. It sounds like your hard work paid off Mike!

On another note, the highly adjustable flashlight for my head is an awesome tool. I got mine from you at the Maggie Valley event and it sure beats the other models that you see in the stores. I wore mine recently for working on the Spyder, doing plumbing under a cabinet and also walking the dog in the dark.

The later task, walking the dog, was especially a good trial because of the Adjustability of the unit. I could make it a broad beam or a spot and most anything in between. I still think that you sell them too cheap but thanks for the bargain anyway, this is a very good product.
