Auxiliary port for iPod, cell phone location on my 2018 Spyder RT

Hi All,

I try to locate the auxiliary port for my iPad.
I looked in the frunk and around there but didn't find anything that looks like it.
Maybe I need some cables to hook the port up somewhere?

I took a few pics for you to look at.
Maybe you can help me out here.
There's so much to learn about this spyder. I wonder whether I'll have enough time to master all of this at 77?

Hi John,
I bought my 2018 RT about 2 months ago and this happened to me also when I was looking for the iPhone connection for the BRP Connect. If you look at picture #3 that you have posted; there is a round hole on the left side and that is where the aux port along with the iPhone connection should have been located. I opened the battery cover and sure thing; the cables were there behind the battery on the left side. I fished them back in through the hole and all is good now.

You were right. The wires were pushed back in the hole.

Apparently not many people are aware of this. You're the first one out of 70+ people who read my question who responded.

So know I know where the cables are I've to try to get it to work.

I have a phone linked to my spyder through blue tooth.
What about my older iPod nano, will that work as well?

Glad it worked out for you, I have not tested an Ipod yet, let me know how it works out for you. I have tested the BRP connect and I found it to be useless. map app takes out half of the screen and you cant do anything else. found it to be very primitive and not to mention that you will lose the phone's functionality. Better off using a phone mount with Waze if you are looking for a map.

I tried to get my iPod to work but to no avail.
I agree with you. I'll get a phone mount and will use my GPS app on the phone. Problem solved.
