• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

automatic notification by email

Hi, hope everyone was out riding this weekend.

I seem to have forgotten how to insure I get an automatic email response when I sign up for a topic. I've done it before but have not gotten automatic responses in a while.

Thanks, Mike

After you subrcribe to a thread (under "thread tools"), you will be presented with a pulldown which lets you choose how to be notified. If you choose "Instant Notification by email", you will get the email alert when someone posts a comment.

instant email alerts

I've been doing this but I do not get any email alerts anymore. I used to but not in a long time. Thanks, Mike

Might be better to set it as a "global option" in the User Control Panel by clicking on Settings at the upper right of the forum window, then go to the general settings link down the left side. Then scroll down to the messaging and notification section then the default thread subscription mode and choose the method by which to be notified. If you want daily notifications or weekly, etc...

Well, I went into settings and made changes, lets see if it works for me. Thanks, Mike

Well it did not help. I still do not get emails. What a pain. I got emails when I first joined. Thanks, Mike
