• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Auto Train

Do you live up Nawth? Want to do a one way to Florida that's fun? Try the Auto Train. I will be doing that again this year, from THIS end. Board in Sanford, Florida (45 minutes from Daytona or Orlando) and and taking the Spyder to Lorton, Virginia. It's an overnight trip on the train and only a 2 hour ride from Lorton to the start of the Blue Ridge. You do have to pay for a car pallet for the Spyder since it will not fit on a motorcycle pallet. It is not as expensive as you might think. Coach fare for one is around $106 and for the Spyder is around $235 (went up from $185 :( ). A motorcycle is $135. This will be our 'girls' trip again this year in June and I'm looking forward to it. At the end is the Tail Of The Dragon, but we've done that several times, so this time we will explore Blue Ridge 'spurs' and take in more roads and scenery. This is a fun trip for anyone and a challenge for women alone. But it's a good time all around.

Been down there and thought the " RATTLER " was way more fun and interesting, also way less traffic. I think the road is 209......But someone may know better .......Mike
