Well just like in everything else there has always got to be one person who seems to have a knack for messing it up for the rest of us.
When we made the contest so people could enter more than once, it was so within reason you could have a bigger interest in the contest and some fun entering and checking back on it.
Well seems now some people want to make posting pages and pages of 30 sec apart posts "one of their own contests" between themselves and the other members.
Well 2 things are wrong with this....
1) NOT ON MY CONTEST! If you want to have some sort of a post war contest, do it on your own thread! You get permission from Lamonster do it, not hijack my contest! Oh and by the way YOU REACH DOWN INTO YOUR POCKET AND PULL OUT THE HUNDREDES OF DOLLARS OF PRIZES TOO.
2) THIS IS LAMONSTERS HOUSE! Regardless of what we think, we are guests here, and need to follow his rules and suggestions. I had to pull some real strings to let him allow these contest in the first place, and then some more to allow him to let this one stay open past 1000 posts. All so there would be a "contest" going on into August for everybody to partake in.
Well, after this round of posting wars, Lamonster's head is about to pop off and I can't say I blame him because mine is spinning pretty good too. :gaah:
So, because the overall health of the board and the servers is more important than me giving away more free stuff, the Ausust contest is being canceled, and there will be no more NMN/ESI contests of this nature in the future.
I'm sorry to have to do this but I do respect Lamonster's House and the overall board health is more important.
The Chad windshield winner will still stand, but there will be no regular number drawing this month. We feel the post war it is not has become what we feel is not fair stacking the deck like this.
