• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

we have a rt limited & what we want to be able to do is this. PLEASE HELP! We want to use our smh10's to talk & get gps voice instruction's, we are paired and all that works , then we added a sd card to the mp3 player on the zumo660 and only one head set gets the music. we would like to use the bike speakers instead for the mp3 player but as soon as you turn on the headsets to talk or get gps comm. music plays in one head set ,& can not change it to play thru speakers. so if we but a i-pod touch 2-3-4-or nano5-or6 and put in trunk will it play through speakers on bike with our blue tooth turned on ? we do not have the doongle. :dontknow::dontknow::dontknow:

Why not let the gps instructions go through the speakers as well? When I travel with my wife we each are paired to our cell phones and intercom. We use the GPS for music and instruction through the speakers.

so we would unpair our smh10's frome the gps and just be paired to phs & each other ?

You can't hear it through the radio's speakers? :dontknow:
The Missus and I use our ScalaRiders only for "intercomming" back and forth...
Everything else is "speakered", and we hear it just fine... ;)
Done that way for a couple of reasons...
1. I simply don't know how to add the whole blueteeth thing to what we've already got... :opps:
2. Most important; The Missus and I need to maintain complete and un-interrupted lines of communication open between us. Reading how something has been said is pretty important due to health issues on both sides of the intercoms.

The answer to your question is YES, that would work. That is exactly what I do. Other advantages to that setup is that you could then control the iPod with the Spyder's multi-function module AND you will get automatic volume adjustment based on your speed (if you turn that function on). You could also get those advantages with the dongle, but I actually prefer the speakers for music.

If you pair the headset to both your phone and the GPS, it cannot differentiate between GPS instructions and music from the GPS. Music from the GPS wouldn't sound very good in that event anyway, because the Sena treats it like GPS instructions. (If you do not pair a cell phone to the Sena, you may have different pairing options to use with the GPS - I've never tried that. BUT, once the GPS is paired with Bluetooth, it will no longer interface with the speakers on the Spyder.
