Hi Mike,

In another thread ( that I do not remember which one ) you asked about the device that I bought to help in putting air into the rear tire.

So I used it the other day, and it works great for putting air in; not so great for checking air pressure.

One the right is the device ( and I do not even remember what it is called [ ratz on getting old ] ). This device merely clips onto the existing valve. I also believe that your system of adding another valve to the other side of the wheel is far better but I just did not want to do that yet.

On the left is a tire pressure gage that I bought at Sears, which works great for checking tire pressure. With this gage you can actually set it to bleed down your tire to a pre-determined pressure. And it just takes a slight 'bending' of the Spyder vavle to get it on nicely so as to read the tire pressure.

Just wanted to let you know what I experienced since you had asked in that other thread.

:bowdown::yes:...Thanks Jerry, I've been wondering about this for the past two months :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:....just kidding.......I used to have one from Sears that I liked a lot until it broke ( the business end was all plastic ).....What is the end that you put on the valve stem made of ?????................Mike :thumbup:

From home...or

if working from your home compressor this works great from either side on the stock stem. Or on the road add a valve stem to the end and air up. Put a inline guage and you have it all. Under twenty at harbor frieght...:thumbup:
