Attaching Pictures

My first try at attaching pictures to a new thread never turned right side up :gaah:. Drove me nuts for almost an hour trying to figure out how to solve this problem. Finally clicked on the question mark that's embedded in the round blue background in the File Upload Manager area. There it was - the specs for the different file types (Allowed File Type, Max File Size, Max Width, Max Height). With this info in hand, I went to the My Pictures folder. I resized the selected pictures, keeping in mind that the Max Width and Max Height are pixel sizes. That done, I was then able to attached the pictures into the thread right side up.

Chupaca, I apologize for not including the pics to illustrate the issue with attachments. The pixel size for the pic that's not right side up is 3024 x 4032; the pic that is right side up was resized to 600 x 800. In trying to duplicate this issue, I found another interesting thing with the File Upload Manager. A pic that has been resized to spec is uploaded into the Home Folder and also into the Attachments Section. A Pic that has a pixel size greater than spec can be uploaded only into the Attachments Section but resized and be right side up :hun:. Yes, it is very confusing. Enjoy!

Upload pictures from photo Album???

Hi,

Does anyone know how to " Add a photo to this site" by using A Chrome Google Book Computer?

I have my photos in Google Photos.

I have a new computer.

Deanna, I put them in a folder on my desktop then up load from there.
Under Quick reply:
Hit Insert image then click from computer then chose file.

If you talking about this:

Then you need to open that pic and drag it to a folder on your desktop, then you can upload it.

Wont work without opening pic



Then I shrink the screen down like this.\ and drag it to a folder.
