Right now there are nine Spyders heading out tomorrow for a ride up to Helen. Here is the info it you are interested.
Hey Atlanta folks! I'll be leading a ride to Helen, GA for lunch at Troll Tavern on Wednesday, June 1st. We'll meet at the RaceTrac at I-575 and Ridgewalk Pkwy in Woodstock, GA at 9:40am and roll out at 10am sharp! We'll take scenic country roads - E. Cherokee Dr to US-20, to US-369, to 400 and north on to Helen. We'll come back US-129/19S via Lake Zwerner/Dahlonega (stop for pictures, etc) and take 52E to connect to 400 S again, parting ways as people head home. I'll break off at the Holcomb Bridge Rd exit, heading west back towards Woodstock. I do make stops every couple of hours to stretch legs, sip water, and get gas if need be, but this trip is pretty short, so we shouldn't need to gas up (please arrive with a mostly full tank or top off at the "meet-up" RacTrac). Please also bring rain gear. I slow for rain but do not stop unless there is thunder, in which case we'll seek shelter. Hope to see you there!
