Where can we purchase a shorty atenna to replace the tall one that came on our 2013 RTL?:spyder:

Walmart has a shorty that works pretty well...
Otherwise; I think I'd look at Custom Dynamics.

It's hard to put a price on improved reception though

I can say that the reception on the Toyota antenna is as good if not better than OEM. The design of it is much better than the one from Wal Mart. Changing the antenna is a bit of a hassle, so I believe that spending a few more dollars to have one that has both great reception is is very nice looking is worth it.

Once you get it installed and have had a chance to use it, I look forward to hearing your review of it as well Bill.

I use my ipod on trips but in town I use a stubby antenna. It loses about 10 miles of range.
all of there antenna come with two adaptors. One of them works with the Spyder.
The on I have is is the x antenna. It can be pulled out and comes black or silver.

I believe the CD antenna got some bad reviews because it rusted out.
