Are there any Spyder rental options in Central California?

Does anyone know of any rental options for Spyders in Central California? We are planning for a March trip. I would prefer the rental option rather than trailer for 2000 miles. Thanks for any suggestions.

While not a Spyder rental in California, I was in Gatlinburg, TN several months ago on a family trip and saw at least three rental places that had multiple Polaris Slingshots, and also Side by Side UTVs. I have two Spyders, but thought i would stop and check out the prices and terms on the Slingshots. If I remember correctly, the Slingshots were just under $500 per day, not cheap, but is a riding area with lots of great roads to explore.

Note that these rental Slingshots must be out on the roads a LOT for they had several units that were 3-4 years old that had 80,000-plus miles and the guy on the rental place said that the units have been quite reliable for the most part. I'm not interested in a Polaris Slingshot as they are almost as big as the CX-5 I drive, but I was impressed with the mileage they racked up in a short time.

If it's an option, you might expand your rental search to the Polaris Slingshot. Based on my Gatlinburg trip, there were NO Spyders to rent, but multiple options for the Slingshot.
