• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Arcimoto electric trike.

Looks very much like a Spyder with a cage. I wonder if Can-Am is looking at an electric Spyder?

They had a prototype (to create some excitement) that was shown on here a few years ago. Nothing since then. I think BRP wanted to spend their engineer's time developing the F3, rather than the green spyder. I don't think the prototype ever left the drawing board.

Oh, I forgot, what you linked to looks nothing like a spyder, other than it has 3 wheels.

Been around ....

It fits nicely in the autocycle catagory. Should do well but has a long way to prove itself....time and Joe Public will tell...

Nice but.....

With the exception of being what appears to be an excellent commuter vehicle, I don't think it's a very practical vehicle for much else. There does not appear to be anything resembling storage space. So I would guess shopping is out. Ditto for a road trip.

I don't think that most of the MC community is ready for an all electric bike. The Zero has some takers, but is not zooming off the charts as of this time.

Speed, battery time, and cost are three factors that make me say no at this time.

Ideal for use on the LA car pool lanes. Meets all of the requirements for one person in vehicle, instead of two or more.

is nevada a no helmet state or is arcimoto registered as a car?

We must a wear helmet on a 2 wheeled motorcycle BUT----- not on 3 wheels like the :spyder2: BUT as of October it becomes a must . The helmet provisions are WELL buried in the 9 pages of the bill passed this year. But a covered 3-wheeler may be excempt.
