Anyone tried a/mkt Heated pads for a 2011 RT-S?

Has anyone tried an aftermarket heated pad on the Can Am? Live in SC so I won't need the heat often but I have had bikes in the past with the heated seats and enjoyed them. Just never had any experience with the aftermarket pads. Thanks in advance for the help and you will not hurt my feelings by telling me to buy a heated seat but when I bought this bike used about 3 years ago it already had a new comfort seat which I like.

We added a heated pad to our 2021 F3L, and I know of at least two others that have done the same. Two of the three had them added by Seth Lamm while having other improvements made to their seats, and the other had it added by an automotive upholstery shop. All three riders love the heated seat. And we are all in SC! Seeing as how you want to add heat to an RT-S, just be aware that you may have some longer wires to run.

It's easier and better for warming you to buy a heated jacket liner. Keeps your core warm which keeps everything else warm. I've used one for years and also have a heated seat on my '24 S2S. A jacket liner is better by far at keeping you warm, more versatile as well.

Already have the heated jacket liner and gloves but sometimes when the temps are cool the heated seat feels good. I very seldom use the heated jacket and gloves just add another layer and turn on my grips.

Remember, your RT has the V-Twin engine which produces limited electricity from its mag dynamo, so it is very easy to use more electricity than the system can produce. This will cause your battery to discharge as you ride and could leave you stranded. It does not have an alternator.
