• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone know how to reset the check engine light?

That usually depends very much upon WHY the Check Engine Light is ON in the first place; and the causes for it may possibly vary between different years & models of Spyders! :dontknow:

The Check Engine Light has quite a few functions - it can warn you of imminent engine destroying damage, where it's telling you to shut the engine down immediately before it self-destructs; it can warn you of things that need attention or you run the risk of dropping into Limp Home Mode with varying degrees of restricted speed &/or revs; or it can be showing as a 'catch all' warning when there's nothing really that critical happening &/or the various systems don't have a specific warning for whatever is wrong, but you still need to check for codes &/or rectify whatever is causing it....

So to be of any real help, we need to know more about your RT (what year?) and what exactly happened that may have caused this Check Engine Light to come on... :dontknow:

Did any other warnings pop up, or are there any Codes registered? Active Codes will only show if you haven't turned the engine off since they were triggered, so you'll need to check for codes before doing that; but they will be stored for later recall regardless, only that might need BUDS to find them again. And if you have turned the engine off and that the light comes back on and stays on every time you turn it on, there's gotta be something happening that NEEDS fixing, it wasn't just a momentary glitch that resolved itself! :banghead:

Waiting to hear back...
