• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone have experience with the 2020+ Bumper/skid plate??? Your thoughts?

I am seeing ads for an aftermarket skid plate/bumper for the 2020+ body style out there, I was just wondering if anyone has any experience good or bad with them. I had a bump skid on my older bike and liked the added protection it gave me, I am missing that on my 2025. I am plaining on doing a shock upgrade in the spring on the front end, that should hold the front a little prouder witch it drastically needs in my eyes and maybe my needs will change. But anyway, do any of you have any thoughts on this?

I have the Spyder Extras front bumper/skid plate on my 2022 RT S2S. I put it on the same time I did my BR Ultra sway bar. I also added the H&R springs from MTV. No clearance issues, and minimal (if any) scraping. Quite happy with the set up.

I did it not so much for ground impact (and your new shocks should maintain the same ride height for good handling) but for protection from curbs and frontal impact as your Frunk is just hanging out there.

* Here's the reason a skid plate might be considered necessary in protecting your front underside.
* This is on my F3Limited.
* Oh, the damage, and parts cost, it has saved and I'm reasonably cautious knowing how low the front is.
