• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone found or come up with something to keep the contents in those annoying side load saddle bags?

Has anyone found or come up with a cargo net system or something to keep the contents in the saddlebags on an RTL? It’s so annoying to have to hold all your junk in and quickly slam the door, and in the meantime, your junk falls out and jams the door where it seals. I don’t want to drill the saddle bag, but I suppose some good adhesive could hold a net system in place?? I would much prefer top loading saddle bags. Thanks in advance

You can buy a saddlebag liner, a separate bag designed to fit the saddlebags, put your stuff in the bag, then place the bag in the saddlebag. Numerous places sell them, there's one example in the link below.

Can Am RT saddlebag liner: https://www.slingmods.com/canam-spyder-rt-saddlebag-removable-fitted-luggage-bag-hopnel?vehicle=1
Ya I've seen that. It just seems like a hassle to stuff a leather jacket into that bag. If I could put stuff into the saddle bag and then close the door I would be happy😃

Even if you find a net that fastens to the trunk, you're going to have to unhook it before you can shut or open the door. We have had the trunk liners for years, they work well, and you can stuff a lot of things in there! Works well for us!!

See !! You probably have a Walmart right around the corner, and they stock black. Cheap bag liners :)
On a side note, I kept the Shad liners from my past F3S's Shad bags. They fit in the RT side bags nicely.

I installed these at the leading edge of the box, not on the door. It keeps 'stuff' from falling out.
No drilling, per se. I used self-tapping screws.

Ditto!

My ST has side load, thankfully not much a problem, even with groceries - granted, it does help holding plastic bag handles up out the door when closing - for a quick trip to the house, there's no problems. Hold them before opening, and there's no spills!

My wife just got some plastic tubs that fit in there. Not the best, but a cheap way to hold the stuff without falling out
